Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services through OneHorseShy.com, or Etsy.com or its related sites and services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, including Etsy or any third party services you access through Etsy. When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address from Etsy. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order.

The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order, or complying with the law and with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are: 1) With Etsy, to comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use; 2) With delivery companies, to fulfill and ship your order; 3) To comply with legal or tax obligations.

I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary: to fulfill your order and as described in this Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 5 years.

I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.

You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.
